General Arthur C. Blades, USMC (Retired)
Arthur Blades, Vice President Marine Corps Aviation Programs and Advisory Board Member, retired at the rank of Lt. General (O-9) concluding 32 years of military service as an Infantry officer and as a Naval Aviator in the U. S. Marine Corps. His final assignment was as the Marine Corps Deputy Chief of Staff for Plans, Policies and Operations and previously as Deputy Chief for Aviation responsible for the planning and budgeting of aviation programs. An experienced infantry and aviation officer he commanded both types of units. His political-military experience involved the management of the Status of Force Agreement, and its multi-billion dollar budget with the Government of Japan, the Norway Pre-positioning program and other defense related planning with NATO countries and Allies.
Mr. Blades’ high level staff experience includes computer based training systems development, ground and maritime logistics prepositioning and tracking, aviation program planning, budgeting, and service plans, policies and operations. He also founded an e-discovery document management technology company with a patented software system providing litigation support to law firms.
Arthur received his Bachelor of Science from Villanova University and his Masters Business Administration from Pepperdine University. He is also a graduate of the Industrial College of the Armed Forces.
