Clint Lohse is a career policy analyst with more than a decade of experience on Capitol Hill since he came to the Senate in 2006. As a Legislative Assistant in the U.S. Senate, he has built expertise in Homeland Security and National Security issues, negotiating legislation and engaging with federal agencies on critical security policies. He has also covered a multitude of domestic policies, including foreign relations, governmental reform, transportation & infrastructure. From 2011-2014, Clint was a key Congressional advocate for the American Foreign Service Association, engaging stakeholders and Congressional offices on the critical and high-risk work the U.S. diplomatic corps does to advance American national security. In Capitol Hill’s rapid-fire environment, Clint has earned the ability to be an expert at a moment’s notice.
Clint graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a degree in political science, and earned a master’s degree in international politics from American University. Born and raised on a cattle ranch in Wyoming, he currently resides in Washington, DC.
