Sean Mattiello comes to Bramer Group with years of experience in commercial due diligence, investigative research, behavioral analysis, cross-cultural engagement, and project management. After serving tours in Iraq and Afghanistan with the U.S. Navy, Sean joined the U.S. Department of Commerce where he specialized in due diligence and export compliance in support of international trade relations. He eventually left federal service and joined Battelle Memorial Institute, a leading scientific research & development company, where he helped lead a research team on a technology-innovation program in Washington, D.C.

Sean pursued undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan and graduate studies at Johns Hopkins University, and is an active member of the National Defense Industrial Association and Washington International Trade Association. He holds accreditation as an Export Compliance Professional (ECoP)® in International Traffic-in-Arms Regulations (ITAR) from the Export Compliance Training Institute and is currently working towards accreditation as a Certified ITAR Professional® (CIP) from the International Import-Export Institute.
